Interestingly, we found that patients with severely impaired spermatogenesis show significant downregulation of TEX10 (Fig. S7F and Table S13), which is also observed in infertile teratozoospermia individuals compared with fertile normospermia individuals (Fig. S7G and Table S14), suggesting that TEX10 may also be important for male fertility in humans.
