After adjusting for age, sex, BMI, previous PCI, presence of PAD, presence of multivessel CAD, hs-CRP, eGFR, and presence of lesion’s length ≥ 20 mm in model 2, the TyG index as a continuous variable was an independent predictor for the primary endpoint (HR, 1.201; 95% CI 1.047–1.377; P = 0.009). Here, CRP is linked to peripheral arterial disease.
