In contrast, male gender (OR = 0.39, 95% CI = 0.21, 0.72), hyperlipidemia (OR = 0.47, 95% CI = 0.25, 0.89), exercise (OR = 0.44, 95% CI = 0.34, 0.56), albumin (OR = 0.37, 95% CI = 0.15, 0.88), and HDL level (OR = 0.98, 95% CI = 0.97, 1.00) were negatively associated with the cognitive impairment group. This evidence concerns the gene ALB and hyperlipidemia.
