In the KEGG database, the target mRNAs of these miRNAs were significantly enriched in DNA replication (p = 0.021), Fatty acid degradation (p = 0.026), Glutathione metabolism (p = 0.037), Retrograde endocannabinoid signaling (p = 0.009) and PPAR signaling pathway (p = 0.035), as shown in Fig. 3C. All of them were previously reported to be associated with glioma [25–28]. This evidence concerns the gene PPARA and glioma.
