Importantly, we showed that TACC3 is higher and it is associated with worse survival in CA tumors of not only breast cancer, but also of prostate (P = 0.001, HR = 7.25), lung (P = 0.049, HR = 2.19) and head & neck (P = 0.12, HR = 1.96) cancers (Supplementary Fig. S1H–M), suggesting that its association with CA is not restricted to breast cancer, but could be more general. This evidence concerns the gene TACC3 and breast carcinoma.
