Deng F’s team found that Wnt2 and β-catenin were highly expressed and GSK3β was lowly expressed in ESCC samples; and the positive rate of Wnt2 was positively correlated with the malignancy of ESCC, the expression of GSK3β was significantly correlated with the tumor location of ESCC, and β-catenin was closely associated with the clinicopathological process in GSK3β-negative ESCC samples (21). Here, GSK3B is linked to esophageal squamous cell carcinoma.
