Several studies indicated PANTR1 is a driver gene of different types of cancers including cervical cancer, clear-cell renal cell cancer, esophageal squamous cell carcinoma, gastric cancer, and breast cancer, as PANTR1 can promote angiogenesis, cell proliferation, migration, and invasion, and inhibit angiogenesis cell-cell death [21, 35, 36, 38, 39]. This evidence concerns the gene PANTR1 and cervical carcinoma.
