Notably, the pyroptosis-related genes, NF-κB, IL-33, and IL1RL1 were significantly upregulated in the LN patients, compared with the levels in the control group (Fig. 3E), and GSEA results further demonstrated that the pyroptotic pathway was significantly active in CM2 cells (tissue-resident macrophages) (Fig. 3F).
