AHR and colorectal cancer: We applied GNF351, an effective inhibitor of the ARNT signaling pathway, to mice by inhibiting the AHR upstream of ARNT, as indicated in Fig. 7A. Consistent with the results following the genetic depletion of ARNT, we observed that inhibiting ARNT significantly enhanced the incidence and growth of colorectal cancer (Fig. 7B-C) and increased the percentage of CD11b+Gr1+ cells (Fig. 7D), NET formation (Fig. 7E) and suppressive activities (Fig. 7F) of neutrophils compared with those of the control groups.
