AKT1 and breast cancer: Combined with literature studies, the KV11.1 channel, the hERG1 channel inhibitor E4031, can restore the up-regulated p-AKT in colorectal cancer animal models to inhibit the development of colorectal cancer [17], JAK2 can down-regulate the expression of KCNQ4 [21], and PI3K/AKT can be up-regulated by JAK2 [22], further demonstrating that KCNQ4 can inhibit the progression of breast cancer cells by inhibiting the activity of p-AKT(Fig. 8).
