Among 40 females with BC and gastric cancer, 10 had PVs: BRCA2 (n = 3, 7.5%, 95% CI 2.0–21.5%) was the most frequent, followed by PALB2 (n = 2, 5.0%, 95% CI 0.9–18.2%) and CHEK2 (n = 2, 5.0%, 95% CI 0.9–18.2%). The gene discussed is CHEK2; the disease is breast cancer.
