WTAP acts as a sensitive marker in gastrointestinal cancer [34], non-small cell lung cancer [35], breast cancer [36], etc. It is reported that WTAP involves in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) oncogenesis via regulation of the HuR-ETS1-p21/p27 axis [37].
