Planned, independent-sample t-tests showed that amyloid-positive (A+) individuals who were asymptomatic (stage 1) or had SCD (stage 2) in our sample did not differ with respect to years of education (p = 0.734), CSF total tau levels (p = 0.078), Aß42/40 levels (p = 0.257), MMSE scores (p = 0.947), or their PACC5 scores (p = 0.414). The gene discussed is MAPT; the disease is Schnyder corneal dystrophy.
