The results of q-PCR and ChIP q-PCR assay showed that KAT8 acetylation attenuates the binding activity of KAT8 to the promoter of lipolysis-related gene HSL to further lead to the decreased expression of HSL gene and inhibit the migration and invasion of CRC cells (Fig. 6G–N). The gene discussed is KAT8; the disease is colorectal carcinoma.
