As our results state increased incidence in proteinuria (89.5%), raised serum creatinine (86.8%), and hypoalbuminemia (50.9%), It is seen to be caused most likely due to ACE-2 expression in proximal convoluted tubules (as it occurs in multiple other organs) as COVID-19 infection in cells disrupt renal parenchyma leading to ATI/ATN. The gene discussed is ACE2; the disease is Hypoalbuminemia.
