In the validation cohort of 143 AML patients, the expression of SLC25A3, SDHC, RACK1/GNB2L1, FASTKD1, ATP5J, CLIC1, GLUD1, and SLC25A29 were found to be significantly upregulated (Figure 2B, Table 1) while FASLG, HRK, ALAS2, SLC25A21, CYP1B1, SNCA, MMP9, and OLFM4 were significantly downregulated (Figure 2D, Table 1) compared to controls. Here, ALAS2 is linked to acute myeloid leukemia.
