We selected five glycoproteins: fibulin-2 (FBLN2), macrophage colony-stimulating factor 1 (CSF1), macrophage mannose receptor 1 (MRC1), fibrinogen alpha chain (FGA), and complement component C7 (C7), to assess the potential utility of O-glycoprotein markers in supporting the diagnosis and selection of treatment options for patients with advanced CRC. The gene discussed is CSF1; the disease is colorectal carcinoma.
