Using the AAV-CaMKIIα-DO-GFP vector-mediated infection on SCT-Cre mice (Fig. S10a), we found that BLASCT− neurons prominently extend their axonal terminus into the ventral CA1, NAc and bed nucleus of the stria terminalis (BNST) in addition to the central amygdala (CeA) (Fig. S10b and c), which agrees with previous findings [30,46–48].
