Noteworthy, CYP1A2 is largely involved in antipsychotics' metabolism, and we found a CYP1A2*1F/*1F genotype in a patient with bipolar disorder (#13), who could be at increased risk of inadequate response to antipsychotics, potentially improving the management of epilepsy comorbidities. This evidence concerns the gene CYP1A2 and bipolar disorder.
