MAP1LC3B and renal cell carcinoma: This is the first study to find that LicA could have potent anti-proliferative and anti-metastatic effects on malignant RCC cells through decreased phosphorylation of Src/FAK, inhibited expression of Sp1, and increased expression of LC3B in succession (Figure 8), highlighting the potential of LicA to lead to new therapies for advanced or metastatic RCC.
