Recently bLF was reported to inhibit the invasion of breast cancer cells via the inhibition of FAK phosphorylation at tyrosine (Tyr)-397 [40], and enhanced AMP-activated protein kinase activity (AMPK) thereby inhibited the expression of MMP-2 (Gelatinase A) and MMP-9 (Gelatinase B) [41]. This evidence concerns the gene MMP2 and breast cancer.
