In contrast, the detection of CRC biomarkers, including Kirsten rat sarcoma viral oncogene homolog (KRAS), V-RAF murine sarcoma viral oncogene homolog B1 (BRAF), tumor protein 53 (TP53), microRNA-21 (miRNA-21), carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA), carbohydrate antigens (CA19-9, CA72-4, CA125), interleukin-6 (IL-6), and vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF), is more sensitive and has important practical significance for the early screening of CRC [12,13].
