To achieve this, the following was performed: (a) flavonoid and phenolic profiles of the samples were evaluated using LC-MS/MS; (b) the total antioxidant/phenolic capabilities of propolis equivalents were measured using DPPH, ABTS, DMPD, CUPRAC, ferric-reducing antioxidant power (FRAP), and Folin–Ciocalteu techniques; (c) the inhibitory effect of propolis on some metabolic enzymes including AChE, hCA II and α-glycosidase were investigated to determine a probable relationship with AD, diabetes mellitus, and glaucoma. Here, ACHE is linked to Alzheimer disease.
