Although our results demonstrated that CIT could effectively inhibit both Ang II-induced osteogenic differentiation of vSMCs and RANKL-induced osteoclast differentiation of Raw264.7 cells so far, those data were obtained from two independent in vitro systems and, thus, not sufficient enough to claim that CIT will simultaneously act on both VC and osteoporosis in a single entity.
