Additionally, T2DM (OR, 1.54; 95% CI, 1.21–1.95; p < 0.001), hypertension (OR, 1.57; 95% CI, 1.29–1.90; p < 0.001), albumin levels (OR, 0.69; 95% CI, 0.53–0.92; p = 0.011), and the presence of cardiac symptoms with abnormal ECGs (OR, 3.02; 95% CI, 2.19–4.15; p < 0.001) were associated with advanced liver fibrosis, as defined by the Fib-4 in patients with NAFLD (Table 3).
