Indomethacin administration caused a dramatic increase levels of TNF-α, a key proinflammatory cytokine involved in the formation of the gastric ulcer in the INDO group (1.409 ± 19.66 pg/mL), compared to the control group (1.016 ± 65.54 pg/mL; p < 0.001). This evidence concerns the gene TNF and gastric ulcer.
