Girls with CF were found to have delays in achieving pubertal levels of insulin-like growth factor-I (IGF-I), follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH), and luteinizing hormone (LH) [13]; low levels of anti-Mullerian hormone (AMH), considered to be a marker of ovarian reserve, were found in women with CF [14]. This evidence concerns the gene BRD2 and cystic fibrosis.
