ASOs have been confirmed to specifically increase the expression of productive transcripts and reduce seizures and the incidence of SUDEP as a gene-specific treatment for Dravet syndrome and diastolic function in a murine heart failure model through the inhibition of RBM20 with ASOs in a recent study [36,37]. This evidence concerns the gene RBM20 and encephalopathy, progressive, early-onset, with brain edema and/or leukoencephalopathy.
