In the KEYNOTE-062 trial, 763 patients (69% with GC) were randomized to receive pembrolizumab alone, pembrolizumab plus chemotherapy (cisplatin/5-FU or capecitabine), and chemotherapy plus placebo as first-line treatment for HER2-negative and PD-Ll-positive (combined positive score (CPS) ≥ 1) unresectable advanced or recurrent GC and esophagogastric junction cancer [49].
