The downregulation of METTL3 in glioblastoma cells (GBM) decreased the m6A modification levels of serine- and arginine-rich splicing factors (SRSF), which led to the YTHDC1-dependent nonsense-mediated decay (NMD) of SRSF transcripts and decreased SRSF protein expression [84].
