Moreover, the expression profiles of five metastasis-specific proteins (CATW, MRS2, SDCB2, RTN4, and RAD23B) were found to be consistent with their gene expression levels in BRCA patients and correlated with the overall survival of invasive BC patients, suggesting the potential of these proteins as putative exosome markers for BC metastasis.
