Recently, a meta-analysis of the microarray datasets GSE24982, GSE63442, and GSE63651 (from the Gene Expression Omnibus (GEO) database [225]) identified the rat Fcgr2b gene as one of the six most likely hub genes responsible for neuropathic pain and aging [226], just as we found the same rat Fcgr2b gene to be a molecular marker for ARDs (see Table 2, Table 6, Table 7, Table 9, and Table 10). This evidence concerns the gene FCGR2B and acute respiratory distress syndrome.
