Higher levels of CALCRL expression, including a greater number of CALCRL-positive cases (IRS ≥ 3) and higher IRS values, were particularly prevalent in all types of thyroid carcinomas, parathyroid adenomas, small-cell lung cancers, large cell neuroendocrine carcinomas of the lung, pancreatic neuroendocrine neoplasms, renal clear cell carcinomas, pheochromocytomas, lymphomas, and melanomas (Table 1). The gene discussed is CALCRL; the disease is pancreatic neuroendocrine neoplasm.
