Higher levels of CALCRL expression, including a greater number of CALCRL-positive cases (IRS ≥ 3) and higher IRS values, were particularly prevalent in all types of thyroid carcinomas, parathyroid adenomas, small-cell lung cancers, large cell neuroendocrine carcinomas of the lung, pancreatic neuroendocrine neoplasms, renal clear cell carcinomas, pheochromocytomas, lymphomas, and melanomas (Table 1). This evidence concerns the gene CALCRL and pulmonary large cell neuroendocrine carcinoma.
