Given the oncogenic function of EphA2 in endometrial cancer, we performed a systematic high-throughput drug screen on an endometrial cancer cell line (Hec1A) transfected with either control siRNA or EphA2 siRNA with two drug libraries containing a total of 1510 drugs comprising FDA-approved drugs, clinical candidates, active pharmaceutical ingredients, and chemotherapeutic agents. This evidence concerns the gene EPHA2 and endometrial cancer.
