ACHE and early-onset autosomal dominant Alzheimer disease: Furthermore, Goncalves et al. [96] reported that the methanol extract of Helichrysum italicum, rich with phenolic compounds (caffeoylquinic and dicaffeoylquinic acids as well as pinocembrin), exhibited high inhibitory activity against enzymes involved in Alzheimer’s disease progression, namely acetylcholinesterase (AChE) (78.29%), tyrosinase (74.13%) and α-glucosidase (96.65%).
