VHL and autosomal dominant cerebellar ataxia: Other patterns are rare but have been reported: (A) unilocular SCA; (B) giant SCA (>10 cm), which may compress surrounding structures and cause ductal dilation; (C) solid-appearing SCA, which has microscopic cysts that are too small to be detected on MRI and appears solid; (D) disseminated SCA, which can be seen with VHL [40].
