The present study reveals that GAS can reduce pentobarbital-induced sleep latency, increase the duration of sleep and effectively improve cognitive deficits and hippocampus CA1 and cortex neuron damage in REM sleep-deprived rats, and the mechanism is related to GAS inhibition of the TLR4/NF-κB signaling pathway and activation of the Wnt/β-catenin signaling pathway. This evidence concerns the gene TLR4 and Cognitive impairment.
