In head and neck squamous cell carcinoma, invasive breast carcinoma, liver hepatocellular carcinoma, and kidney renal papillary cell carcinoma unaltered co-expression of CD44, iASPP, and p53 favored tumor patient survival, whereas in glioblastoma multiforme, their altered expression was associated with tumor patient survival. This evidence concerns the gene TP53 and head and neck squamous cell carcinoma.
