String database analysis of the eight genes/proteins that are overexpressed in AML patients but downregulated upon TMP269 treatment revealed a similar core set of RPs including RPS21, RPS25, RPL35A, RPL37A, and RPL6, all of which are part of the KEGG pathway for Ribosome (Figure 3B, red). This evidence concerns the gene RPL37A and acute myeloid leukemia.
