M1 tumor-associated macrophages displayed increased activity of signaling pathways stimulated by IFN-α, IFN-γ, IL2/STAT5, IL6/JAK/STAT3, and inflammatory responses, indicating that these macrophages were generated from a proinflammatory microenvironment in OS lesions induced by IFN-α and IFN-γ. The gene discussed is IFNA1; the disease is neoplasm.
