The simulated activation of IRF7 lead to the activation of several molecules downstream of IRF7, including several molecules found to be overlapping between the GSE47474 dataset and IRF7 and its associated molecules (Table 1) such as CXCL10 and molecules closely related to the overlapping molecules, such as CXCL9, CXCL8, CD80, CCL8, etc. The activation of said molecules leads to the inhibition of HIV-infection. This evidence concerns the gene IRF7 and HIV infectious disease.
