CD5-positive DLBCL remains an insufficiently studied, relatively new entity, which accounts for 5% to 10% of the DLBCL population.[2] In contrast to CD5-negative DLBCL, which is more common in men (1.4: 1), patients with CD5-positive DLBCL have an average age of 70 years and a moderate female predominance (1: 1.2).[3] The international prognostic index (IPI) score is high in the majority of individuals with CD5-positive DLBCL.[4–6]. Here, CD5 is linked to diffuse large B-cell lymphoma.
