Although many significant breakthroughs in AML immunotherapy and targeted therapy were achieved recently, such as BCL-2 inhibitors, FLT-3 inhibitors, and IDH1/2 inhibitors, postremission relapses occur frequently, and we do not yet have a good understanding of the aetiologies and pathogenesis of AML, which leads to poor prognosis for AML patients [2,3].
