The V-domain Ig suppressor of T-cell activation (VISTA), as well known as PD-1 homologous (PD-1H), is a co-inhibitory molecule, mostly expressed on neutrophils, monocytes, macrophages, APCs and to a lower extent, on naive CD4+ and CD8+ T cells, but not on tumor cells; and regulates chemotactic activity of T cells, being able to suppress the immune response [23,24]. This evidence concerns the gene CD8A and neoplasm.
