Specifically, immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICI) including anti-CTLA4 (ipilimumab, tremelimumab), anti-PD-1 (pembrolizumab, nivolumab), anti-PDL1 (atezolizumab, durvalumab), and anti-LAG3 (relatlimab) have led to durable treatment responses and improved survival for some patients with solid tumors such as melanoma, non-small cell lung cancer, renal cell carcinoma, bladder cancer, Hodgkin’s lymphoma, head and neck squamous cell carcinomas, and in mismatch repair-deficient cancers, amongst many others [11,12]. This evidence concerns the gene CD274 and non-small cell lung carcinoma.
