Chloride intracellular channel 1 (CLIC1) has been shown to be overexpressed in many cancers (hepatocellular carcinoma, lung cancer, gall bladder cancer, pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma, glioma, renal cell carcinoma, and gastric cancer) and associated with progression and metastasis; however, the mechanisms and pathways of action have not been fully elucidated [11,12]. This evidence concerns the gene CLIC1 and lung carcinoma.
