A different pattern in antigen-specific immunity was observed in 15 patients without leukemia relapse (Supplementary Figures 7–11): Higher levels of WT1-specific immune responses (>= 0.5% of CD8+ T cells) were found in three patients (Patient 3, 6, and 7) in complete remission, while WT1-specific T cells remained undetected in 4 cases (Patient 9, 11, 12, and 16) or at low levels in 8 cases (Patient 2, 4, 13, 17, 18, 20, 21, and 22) with variable expression of PD-1, CTLA-4 and TIM-3. The gene discussed is CD8A; the disease is leukemia.
