ACE and ventricular tachycardia: The patient was counselled regarding prognosis and its fatal outcome of ventricular tachycardia/sudden cardiac death for which implantable cardioverter-defibrillator device (ICD-D) implantation was advised, which was implanted uneventfully, and the patient was discharged on oral medications such as low-dose diuretics, beta-blockers, spironolactone, angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitors, amiodarone, and anxiolytics, which was withdrawn over a two-week time with a continuation of other oral medications.
