Jung et al. [10] retrospectively analyzed the clinicopathological characteristics of 1,224 operated colon cancer patients and seven blood parameters including albumin (ALB) level, fibrinogen (FBR) level, lymphocyte count (LYM), monocyte count (MON), neutrophil count (NEU), platelet count (PLT), and white blood cell (WBC) count in the four weeks preoperatively. Here, ALB is linked to malignant colon neoplasm.
