The PPI network analysis exhibits that numerous genes, including IL-6, TNF-α, MAPK3, MAPK1, AKT1, mTOR, HIF1A, HSP90AA1, EGFR, CASP3, etc., are implicated in the pathogenicity of COVID-19 disease and also in the anti-COVID-19 effects of Meliae cortex’s key active phytonutrients (Figures 4B, 5, and 14). Here, AKT1 is linked to COVID-19.
